Petrol-diesel Prices For The Second Consecutive Day


New Delhi (Loksatya). Petrol-diesel prices remained steady at historical record levels for the second consecutive day on Thursday. According to the website of leading oil marketing company Indian Oil Corporation, the price of petrol in the national capital today remained unchanged at Rs 92.85 per liter and diesel at Rs 83.51 per liter.

Oil marketing companies have increased prices for 10 days since May 04, while keeping prices stable for seven days. During this time, petrol in Delhi has become expensive by Rs 2.45 and diesel by 2.78 rupees.

There was no change in prices at other places as well. Petrol in Mumbai sold for 99.14 rupees, Chennai 94.54 rupees and Kolkata 92.92 rupees per liter. The price of diesel was Rs 90.71 in Mumbai, Rs 88.34 in Chennai and Rs 86.35 per liter in Kolkata.

The prices of petrol and diesel are reviewed daily and based on this, new prices are applied every day from six o’clock in the morning.
