Subnautica: Below Zero is scheduled for release on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series X, and Nintendo Switch on Friday, 14th May 2021.

The game was released for early access in January 2019 for PC. It’s been over a years wait for fans but the game will finally be hitting consoles.

In preparation for the game’s release, the official Twitter account of Subnautica has announced that they will be holding a Livestream to celebrate the launch of the game across multiple platforms on 14th May 2021 at 5 PM UTC/10 AM PDT.

Does Subnautica have multiplayer?

The action-adventure game is another open-world survival experience in a first-person perspective. While Subnautica was solely based underwater, Below Zero will allow players to step foot on land to explore new terrain.

This means many of the gameplay mechanics from the last game will be featured alongside new ones, in order to make way for different environments the player will be thrust into.

Below Zero is said to take place a year after the events of its prequel and will focus on the main characters search for their sister on the planet ‘4546B’.
